Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Lead to take ownership of our UI/UX design and product experience. You will be responsible for leading the design team, driving the design strategy, and ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience. This role requires collaboration with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to bring innovative and user-centric design solutions to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Leadership: Lead and mentor the design team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and innovation.
• UI/UX Strategy: Define and implement a user experience strategy that aligns with Swivl’s business goals and customer needs.
• User Research & Testing: Conduct user research, usability testing, and data-driven design decisions to enhance user satisfaction.
• Design Systems: Develop and maintain a scalable design system to ensure consistency across all platforms and devices.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into compelling user experiences.
• Prototyping & Wireframing: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs to effectively communicate design concepts.
• Accessibility & Responsiveness: Ensure designs are inclusive, accessible, and optimized for various devices and screen sizes.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, design best practices, and new technologies to keep Swivl at the forefront of design innovation.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.
• A strong portfolio showcasing expertise in web and mobile design, user research, and design systems.
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design and prototyping tools.
• Experience with user-centered design, usability principles, and agile development processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with the field service industry or similar SaaS products.
• Familiarity with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), motion design, or branding is a plus.
